A Feast for Famished Feathered Fliers

The area alongside Racecourse Road on the outskirts of Donald township has long been a favourite feeding place for thousands of corellas.

Mid-morning last Friday, this photograph was taken near the main entrance to the Donald racecourse, where the pure white birds forage in the grass for treats, including grain that at times shakes loose from transports on their way to the Donald weighbridge.
