
Oven mounds in the former Donald Shire. A 1960s map by Barry Golding, now held by Donald History Society Museum of “Aboriginal middens”, with pins marking 130 oven mounds. The clusters are mainly associated with current or former wetlands and lunettes around Lake Buloke and the Richardson River.
