The Donald community, like many other rural communities, has always had an affiliation and love with watching and playing Australian Rules.
From when we were kids and given our first brown plastic football from the local newsagency run by Mr Jack Dennis, Pat and Leo Allen, till then a small leather version to the final bigger version, football has been central in our growing up from primary school to our working careers.
