Workshop
The Native Superfoods Work Shop With Meez On Plus is on Saturday March 8, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
“Wide Open Spaces” is happy to welcome Billie from Meez on Plus for her workshop on native super foods.
Billie is passionate about her work and enjoys imparting her knowledge to others. She spends a lot of her time in schools helping them set up native food gardens and learn how to use what they grow.
The class will include discussions on the best way to grow native foods, how to incorporate them into our everyday meals as well as information on where to source them.
There will be “hands on” opportunities and at the end of the class, some tasty treats to enjoy with a refreshing native tea. Questions are welcomed and there will be a selection of books, plants, jams and chutneys to purchase.
The cost is $40 per person, with numbers limited to 15, so get your name in quickly. A second class on Sunday the 9th is possible, if there are enough numbers.
