Late November 2024 a small crowd gathered in Donald Shared Shop to attend a book launch of one of the shop’s vendors. 

Samantha Davies has written over 30 novels, and most are available to purchase at Donald’s Shared Shop. 

Sam writes about many different genres under three different pseudonyms. 

The launch revealed her latest novel “Where the Wild Horses Roam”, a fictional work set in a rural Mallee backdrop, telling the stories of a family life set in the 1920s. 

The sons go off to war, and the daily life reveals interesting characters and incidents that form together a superb novel that tells a moving and thoughtful story about family, love and hardship.
