The Wycheproof Lions Club Show and Shine was held at the Mt. Wycheproof and District Racecourse on March 9. 

An impressive array of vehicles was on display, enticing many engine enthusiasts to the town for the long weekend, and judges had a difficult task selecting the winners of each section. 

Results were as follows:

Cars

Best on Show:   HQ Monaro,   Rick Lang  (Charlton).

President’s Choice:   XB Falcon Ute,  David Rickard  (Warracknabeal).

Secretary’s Choice:  1967 Gold Falcon,  Peter Greenwood  (Kerang).

Best 2 Door:  1970 Valiant Mexicana,  Wendy Harris  (Swan Hill).

Best Ute:  1974 HQ Holden, John Brennan  (Donald).

Best Original:  Ford XT Falcon, Murray Rogers  (Ballarat).

Best pre-1940s:  1934 Chevrolet Roadster  (Coo-nooer Bridge).

Best 4 Door:  1968 HK Holden, Sharron Sitkei  (Bendigo).

Best Ladies Car:  VU Holden Ute, Sharelle Dickson  (Mt. Edgerton).

GF Kustom’s Choice:  HX Holden Panel Van, Tom Campbell   (Ballarat).

Best Pre-1970s Holden:  EH Premier Holden,  Keith Eastwood (Swan Hill).

Co-ordinator’s Choice:  HR Premier Holden,  John Turner  (Ballarat).

Crowd Puller:  1924 Fiat,  Phil Stafford   (Charlton).

Best Off Road: Haflinger 4x4, Geoff Pyers  (St.Arnaud)

Motorcycles

Best Bike Stock:  Triumph Sprint 955 ST,  Andrew King  (Lah).

Best Bike Modified:  Street Glide, Duncan Hay  (Dumosa).
