It may not be everyone’s ideal place to be spending time, but for this fearless foursome it was just another day on the job.
As debate rages over the impending installation of elevated power lines across thousands of kilometres of eastern Australia, a “friendlier” tower appeared in Donald at the end of last week.
This one is 60 metres tall, and is located on an Industry Drive block on Donald’s Industrial Estate.
It’s the new Optus tower, which will replace the one which for years has stood in the town.
These new Optus towers are built by the Sydney-based Indara Corporation, which leases them to end-users. Donald’s old structure is due to be decommissioned.
